Lihat, seekor kelelawar besar masih berputar di angkasa, semestinya saat ini ia sudah lelap tidur. Mungkin ada yang dicarinya saat ini. Buat hewan nocturnal seperti kalong, jam-jam siang adalah waktunya istirahat dari aktivitas mencari makan.
Orang banyak ngasih istilah kalong atau ngalong buat mereka yang suka begadang malam, padahal kelelawar yang juga saudaranya satu spesies dari keluarga Chiroptera juga suka ngeronda malam, tapi tak ada yang ngasih istilah nglelawar .
